Meet the staff

All staff hold appropriate early years qualifications as well as holding current first aid, child protection and food safety certificates.



Frances has years of experience at Abbey Pre-School helping develop countless groups of 2-5 year olds before they move on to 'Big School'. She has lived in River since childhood and now lives with her husband Michael and has two children called Adam and Fiona.

She enjoys keeping fit, driving her ST and going to Take That concerts.



Kirsten lives in River with her husband Paul, son George and her pet, Lily the dog.

At weekends Kirsten enjoys being in her garden growing flowers and plants and going for walks with Lily.


Deputy Supervisor

Jenny lives in River with her husband Mark. She has two grown up children called Sarah and William who also came to Abbey Pre-School when they were younger.

Jenny's hobbies include reading books and meeting her friends.



Chloe lives in Whitfield with her partner George and daughter Grace.

In her spare time she loves to go on walks, shopping and visiting the zoo as well as spending lots of time with her friends and family.



Emma lives in Dover with her three children, Riley, Rosey, Rory and newborn Reggie. Rosey and Rory have also attended Abbey Pre-School.



Natalie is married to Graham and lives in Temple Ewell. She has worked at Abbey Pre-school since 1995. Her two sons, Peter and John came to Abbey Pre-school before that.

She enjoys reading, doing quizzes and playing scrabble. Graham and Natalie like listening to music and going out with friends. Our favourite holidays are cruise holidays.



Rosie lives in Dover and has two daughters Megan and S.J.

In her spare time Rosie loves to cook and meet her friends.



Rujina lives in River with her husband and three boys, Sami, Adam and Zain.

In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and friends. Rujina likes going for long walks and keeping fit. She also likes shopping.



Marie lives in Dover with her husband Andy and two children Jake and Evie who attended Abbey Pre-school when they were younger. She has three step children and they visit at weekends.

During her spare time Marie likes to swim, have family picnics at the park, days at the beach and walk their pet dog Holly.


Three years after opening in 1989 Abbey Pre-School moved to it's current location of St Peter's church, River, Dover and has been an ideal setting for the children to learn and play.
